Persoon overleden na zwaar ongeval A12 Ede, snelweg dicht
EDE – Op de A12 bij Ede ter hoogte van knooppunt Maanderbroek is vannacht een persoon om het leven gekomen na een zwaar ongeval. Door het ongeval belandde een van de betrokken auto’s op de kop op de snelweg terecht.
Rond 00:30 uur ging het flink mis in de richting van Utrecht. Twee auto’s kwamen met elkaar in botsing. Een auto botste vol in de vangrail en de andere auto sloeg over de kop en kwam honderden meters verderop tot stilstand.
De hulpdiensten kwamen massaal ter plaatse. De toegesnelde hulp mocht niet meer baten voor een slachtoffer. Een ander persoon raakte zwaargewond.
Er wordt op dit moment onderzoek gedaan naar de toedracht van het ongeval.
